• Display nameA name you choose yourself (or one we auto-generate for you). Not your real name. Used only to identify you within a game session.
• Game activityClue claims, bingo events, chat messages, and reactions made during gameplay. Stored to reconstruct the activity feed for players who join mid-game.
• Email address (optional)Only if you create an account. Used for authentication and to save your stats across games. Never required to play.
• Usage analyticsAnonymous event data (e.g. “game started”, “bingo claimed”) collected via Amplitude to help us understand how the game is used. No personal information is attached to these events.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Run the gameDisplay names and game activity power the live multiplayer experience — boards, claims, chat, and the activity feed.
• Improve BingWowAnonymous analytics help us understand which features are working and which are not.
• Account featuresEmail is used only for sign-in, password reset, and linking your win stats to your profile.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

We use cookies only for authentication sessions (to keep you signed in). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. If you play as a guest, no cookies are set for your account — only browser localStorage is used to remember your display name within your session.

5. Data Retention

Game rooms and their associated data (players, claims, chat) are automatically expired after 24 hours of inactivity and permanently deleted after 7 days. If you create an account, your profile and stats are retained until you delete your account.

6. Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your profile and associated data. To request deletion of specific game data, or if you have any privacy questions, email us at hello@bingwow.com.

7. Children

BingWow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect when it was last updated. Continued use of BingWow after changes means you accept the updated policy.
