Free Bingo Caller for Church Bingo Night

Church bingo nights are a staple of community life and fundraising. The traditional setup requires a bingo cage, ball set, and someone stationed at the front calling numbers the entire evening. A free digital caller eliminates all of that equipment and frees the caller to walk the room.

What You Need

  • A laptop with internet access
  • The church projector (or a TV/monitor visible to the room)
  • Printed bingo cards for each player
  • Daubers, chips, or markers

That is the complete list. No bingo cage. No ball set. No special software. No account to create. The free bingo caller runs in any web browser.

Setting Up

  1. Print cards ahead of time. Open bingwow.com/caller on a desktop computer. Click “Print Number Cards.” Choose your quantity (50 to 200 for a typical church event), 2 or 4 per page to save paper, and Letter or A4 paper size.
  2. Customize the cards. Upload your church logo as the free space image. Choose a background image that matches your event theme, or use a solid white background for clean, ink-friendly printing.
  3. Test the projector. Before the event, connect the laptop to the projector and open the caller page. Click Fullscreen. Verify that the flashboard is readable from the farthest seat. The numbers are large and color-coded by B-I-N-G-O column.
  4. Set the game mode to 75-ball. This is the standard US format matching the printed cards.
  5. Choose your speed. Relaxed (10 seconds) works well for mixed-age church groups. Normal (5 seconds) picks up the pace for experienced players.

Running the Event

Before Players Arrive

  • Place cards face-down at seats or sell them at the door
  • Set up a prize table where winners can choose
  • Have the projector displaying the caller page when people walk in

During the Game

  • Call numbers aloud even though they appear on screen. Not everyone has a clear sightline to the projector.
  • Use auto-call. The caller draws numbers automatically at your chosen interval. This frees you to walk around, assist players, and manage the event.
  • Verify bingo wins by checking the flashboard. Called numbers are highlighted — compare the winner's card against the board.
  • Click New Game between rounds. This reshuffles the numbers for a fresh sequence.

For Fundraisers

  • Sell cards, not admission. Common pricing: $1 per card per round, or a flat $5 to $10 for the evening. Multiple cards per player increase revenue.
  • Keep prize costs reasonable. Gift cards, baked goods, and donated items from local businesses keep margins high.
  • Run a concession stand. Many church bingo nights earn as much from food and drinks as from card sales.
  • Announce the cause. People play more generously when they know where the money goes. Brief announcements between rounds keep the purpose visible.

Since the caller and cards are completely free, every dollar from card sales goes directly to the cause. No software subscription, no equipment rental, no per-card printing fees.

Mixing Number and Themed Bingo

Traditional number bingo is the backbone, but themed rounds add variety. A holiday bingo round with Christmas phrases, a Bible trivia round, or a community-themed round where squares reference local landmarks and inside jokes. Create a themed card in seconds and project it alongside the number caller.

After the Event

  • Save leftover printed cards for next time (cards can be reused since the number sequence changes each game)
  • Bookmark bingwow.com/caller on the event laptop so it is ready for the next bingo night
  • Print fresh cards if you want different backgrounds or quantities
