Vocabulary Day Bingo Cards
The word appears on the board. Then on the card. Then in a sentence the teacher just said. That moment when a student's eyes go wide — that's vocabulary bingo working. The squares demand active listening: "find the word for the thing you do when it rains," "spot apologize in the conversation you just overheard" — turning abstract language drills into something students lean into. Students who hesitate in discussion lean forward during bingo. It rewards paying attention to language in motion, not just memorizing a list. Print a different board for every student — no two should match.
